Role Overview
We are seeking an HR Consultant with strong English interpretation and translation capabilities to support global companies entering and operating in China.
This role is not a pure translation position. It is a consultant-oriented HR role, combining professional English communication, HR-related documentation, and end-to-end project coordination and client relationship management for China-entry HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. English Communication & Interpretation for Global Clients
- Act as a primary communication interface between overseas clients and internal teams
- Provide English oral interpretation during meetings, calls, and online discussions related to China-entry HR projects
- Handle professional written communication in English, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and business appropriateness
- Summarize, confirm, and follow up on bilingual communication outcomes
2. HR Documentation Translation & Professional Writing
- Translate and draft HR-related documents between Chinese and English, including but not limited to:
- HR consulting proposals and reports
- Employment compliance explanations
- HR policies, procedures, and project documentation
- Review and polish English materials to ensure professional and client-ready quality
3. Global China-Entry Project Coordination & Management
- Participate in HR consulting and China-entry projects for overseas clients
- Support project initiation, milestone tracking, and delivery coordination
- Maintain ongoing communication with signed clients, managing expectations and follow-ups
- Assist senior consultants in organizing deliverables, meeting records, and project documentation
4. HR Product & Policy Support
- Assist in researching HR-related products, employment policies, and regulatory updates
- Convert complex HR and compliance concepts into clear, client-friendly English explanations
- Support the development of standardized materials for global China-entry services
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or above; major in English, Translation, Human Resources, Law, Business, or related fields preferred
- Excellent English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Strong capability in professional and business-level English communication
- Good logical thinking and structured writing skills
Professional Requirements
- Basic understanding of, or strong interest in, HR management, employment compliance, or consulting work
- Project-oriented mindset with the ability to support multi-stage client projects
- Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and professional boundaries
Preferred
- Experience in HR consulting, cross-border HR services, or international client coordination
- Experience in professional English translation or business interpretation
- Overseas study, work, or long-term English-speaking environment experience
