主要职责：

社会情感发展 Social and Emotional Development

• 个别辅导：提供一对一辅导，解决个人问题，如焦虑、抑郁、同伴关系、家庭问题和自尊。

Individual Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling to address personal issues, such as anxiety, depression, peer relationships, family problems, and self-esteem.

• 危机干预：应对紧急情况，如欺凌、自残或家庭危机，提供立即的支持和向适当服务的转介。

Crisis Intervention: Respond to emergencies, such as bullying, self-harm, or family crises, by providing immediate support and referrals to appropriate services.

学术支持 Academic Support

• 学术规划：协助学生培养有效的学习习惯、时间管理技巧和组织策略。

Academic Planning: Assist students in developing effective study habits, time management skills, and organizational strategies.

• 监控进度：跟踪学生的学术表现，识别那些可能落后的学生，并实施干预策略。

Monitoring Progress: Track students' academic performance, identify those at risk of falling behind, and implement intervention strategies.

• 与教师合作：与教师合作，支持学生的学习需求，包括那些有学习障碍或其他特殊需求和辅助措施的学生。

Collaborating with Teachers: Work with teachers to support students' learning needs, including those with learning disabilities or other special needs and accommodations.

行为支持 Behavioral Support

• 行为干预：为存在行为问题的学生制定并实施行为管理计划。

Behavioral Interventions: Develop and implement behavior management plans for students struggling with behavioral issues.

• 冲突解决：调解学生之间以及学生与教师之间的冲突，以促进积极的学校环境。

Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts between students, and between students and teachers, to promote a positive school environment.

• 反欺凌倡议：领导或参与反欺凌项目，确保为所有学生创造安全包容的环境。

Anti-Bullying Initiatives: Lead or participate in anti-bullying programs, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

家长与家庭参与 Parent and Family Engagement

• 家长沟通：定期与家长沟通，了解孩子在学业、社交等方面的进展情况，以及任何出现的问题。

Parent Communication: Regularly communicate with parents regarding their child's academic progress, social development, and any concerns that arise.

• 研讨会与资源：组织研讨会，为家长提供关于青少年发展、有效育儿策略和教育规划等方面的资源，特别是在我们的家长咖啡晨会上。

Workshops and Resources: Organize workshops and provide resources for parents on topics like adolescent development, effective parenting strategies, and educational planning, particularly for our parent coffee mornings.

全校性举措 School-Wide Initiatives

Program Development: Develop and implement school-wide programs that promote mental health, diversity, inclusivity, and academic success, such as our SEL programme.

Collaboration with Staff: Work closely with school administrators, teachers, and other staff to create a supportive school climate.

Data Analysis: Use data, such as Pulse, school surveys and Epraise to assess the effectiveness of counseling programs and identify trends or areas needing attention.

岗位要求 Job Requirements:

1. 咨询、心理或相关专业的大学本科学历；

2. 具有与初中学段学生共事的心理咨询工作经验；

3. 良好的沟通技巧，灵活应变；

4. 对于工作怀有热情、精力充沛、具有创新能力并用于承担风险；

有意向的申请人将被要求填写一份包含详细教育和专业背景信息的申请表，经过安全招聘培训的面试官将参加面试。申请人将接受严格的背景调查，不接受非特定性的推荐或者证明信函。入职前要求提供由政府机构或警方出具的无犯罪记录的报告。所有工作人员每年均需接受安全制度培训，包括鉴别、反馈和报告程序。
