Reporting to:
Senior Engineering Manager

Responsibility:
● Planning, managing, applying and maintaining of certifications of electric drives and power converters.
● Acting as an expert in certifications, regulations and standards in the defined compliance areas.
● Transfer the product standards requirements into the R&D community to guide the design fulfill the corresponding standards.
● Risk assessments, type test planning, certifications; communication with authorities, factory audits and providing support for e.g. designers and customers.
● Review the R&D design output from product compliance requirement aspect, guide the design to correct direction if conflicting with required standards.
● Work with design engineers to prepare the needed technical and quality documents for 3rd party certification body.
● Lead the communication with 3rd party certificate body for the target product certificate, both product certificate progress communication and technical communication.
● Support internal and external customers on product compliance area.
● Work as a friendly and proactive member in R&D organization.

Requirements:
● Bachelor or Master degree from Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or related area, have agile development environment working experience is a plus.
● Sound knowledge of compliance requirements and processes in some of the various compliance areas e.g. electrical safety, EMC or radio approvals. Ability to combine same test item with different requirements from different standards, and guide R&D project team to implement tests accordingly.
● Knowledge of electric drives, power converters or radio equipment, and of quality management systems.
● Spontaneous, practical, and precise approach to work, quality process orientation
● Excellent written and spoken communication skills, able to act as respresentive of the project team to communicate with 3rd party certificate body.
● Knowledge on testing related work in low voltage power module, related actual experience is preferred.
● Familiar with testing and corresponding testing instruments.
● Fluent in English, positive attitude and a team player.
