About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned **Director of Cross-Border E-Commerce Solutions** to lead the design and execution of end-to-end logistics solutions for Chinese clients targeting the U.S. market. This role requires deep expertise in **U.S.-bound ocean/air freight solutions**, last-mile **2B/2C parcel distribution** , and the ability to craft commercially viable, customer-centric logistics strategies.
As a key leader, you will bridge **commercial, operational, and customer needs**, ensuring our solutions align with the dynamic demands of cross-border e-commerce sellers. Fluency in English
and Mandarin is essential to engage stakeholders across global teams and clients.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
- **Product Strategy:**
Develop and optimize last-mile delivery or parcel solutions for U.S.-bound e-commerce, balancing cost, speed, and compliance (e.g., customs, tariffs).
- **Resource Ownership:**
Manage relationships with overseas internal and external business partners, and U.S. last-mile
partners** (e.g., FedEx, UPS, regional LTL providers, USPS).
- **Commercial Leadership:**
Structure pricing models, negotiate contracts, and articulate value propositions to win **Chinese export clients** (DTC brands, marketplaces, B2B sellers).
- **Customer Collaboration:**
Work directly with clients to tailor solutions, troubleshoot pain points, and align with their
growth goals.
- **Market Intelligence:** Monitor U.S. logistics trends for product innovation.
Ideal candidate with background:
- 8+ years in **logistics/product management**, with expertise in **U.S.-bound freight**
(FCL/LCL, air charters) and **U.S. last-mile networks** (2B/2C).
- Proven track record of designing **scalable cross-border solutions** for e-commerce.
- Strong **commercial acumen**: Ability to price competitively, negotiate with partners, and position solutions to clients.
- **Bilingual fluency** (English + Mandarin) with exceptional communication skills.
- **U.S. market familiarity**: Prior work experience in the U.S. logistics landscape (e.g., carrier networks, fulfillment hubs) is a **strong plus**.
- **Leadership**: Ability to mentor teams and collaborate across sales, ops, and IT teams.
