I.Key Responsibilities
Core responsibilities cover the entire adhesive production chain, focusing on process, quality, efficiency and cross-departmental collaboration:
1.1 Process Development & Transformation
R&D Conversion: Transform R&D formulas/lab processes to industrial scale; design production flows, equipment parameters & technical documents (e.g., process regulations, work instructions).
New Process Launch: Research advanced processes for new adhesives (eco-friendly/high-performance); develop launch plans, conduct trial production & verify effects.
1.2 Production Process Control
Parameter Supervision: Monitor key parameters (temperature, stirring speed, viscosity, etc.); review daily process records to ensure compliance.
Quality Assurance: Resolve on-site quality issues (insufficient bonding, abnormal curing); formulate solutions, track implementation & avoid recurrence.
On-site Support: Train operators on processes; answer technical questions to ensure proficiency.
1.3 Process Optimization & Efficiency
Process Improvement: Analyze production data (cycle, loss, yield); identify bottlenecks and implement optimization (e.g., adjust parameters to shorten cycle).
Cost Control: Reduce raw material/energy/waste costs while ensuring quality.
Equipment Adaptation: Provide process advice for equipment maintenance/ upgrading; ensure equipment matches production needs.
1.4 Document & Compliance
Document Management: Compile/revise process documents, ensure accuracy and on-site implementation.
Compliance: Ensure processes/products meet environmental, safety and industry standards; assist in certification.
Data Management: Establish process database; analyze data to support optimization.
1.5 Cross-departmental Collaboration
Collaborate with R&D to convert formulas and feedback issues.
Work with QA to resolve quality problems and improve processes.
Coordinate with Procurement to define raw material requirements and screen suppliers.
Liaise with Sales to address customer needs and adjust processes accordingly.
II. Qualifications
2.1 Education & Major
Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Materials or related fields.
Knowledge of adhesive formulas, synthesis and production processes is preferred.
2.2 Work Experience
3+ years of adhesive production process experience (preferred in large chemical/ adhesive companies).
Proven experience in process development, optimization and technical problem-solving.
2.3 Core Competencies
Technical Proficiency: Master adhesive production processes (mixing, dispersion, polymerization, etc.) and equipment operations.
Problem-Solving: Quickly analyze and resolve process/quality issues; strong experimental and data analysis skills.
Innovation: Propose and implement process optimizations to boost efficiency/quality.
Documentation: Ability to compile clear technical documents.
Communication: Good cross-departmental collaboration; strong responsibility and execution.
2.4 Skills & Tools
Familiar with relative requirements of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001. Knowledge of SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP, and PPAP.
Proficient in Office; AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.
Familiar with lab instruments (viscometer, tensile tester, etc.).
Basic English reading ability for technical documents. Fluent oral English is a plus.
2.5 Professional Qualities
Strong safety awareness and compliance with chemical production regulations.
Rigorous, detail-oriented and quality-focused.
Willing to learn and keep up with industry trends.
2.6 Others
Able to work overtime on-site and travel; no chemical industry occupational contraindications.
