Primary/Main Objective
The Logistics & Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for the development (where not yet) and maintenance of the overall (end to end) logistic and supply chain for biologics and specialty products in China. This role is responsible for the manage the order cycle ensuring sustainable and uninterrupted supply to market and/or partner, performing shipment studies/validation, managing interfaces with service providers.
Working with the local partner to fulfil their demand requirements. Fulfilling local regulatory and financial compliances for supply chain.
Major Duties/Responsibilities
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, partners and consumers
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Resolution of any issues with regards to shipment or complaints
• Able to supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce at the partners
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance of service providers and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements for GDP
• manage and maintain cold chain transport validation throughout the supply chain
• The candidate will communicate across the organization to ensure key stakeholders are aware of stock, transport and supply status, potential risks associated and their required mitigation plans.

Professional Experience
• Proven working experience as Logistics and supply chain specialist level
• Proven record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cold chain transport validation and external service providers
• Experience with 2 invoice processes
• Experienced in standard logistics software and systems
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Think strategically to assess and improve processes to meet business needs globally.
• Ability to analyze complex issues; develop and implement solutions by collaborating with other teams both internal and external.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders.
Education
Minimum BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain

• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
• Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills,
• Agile and able work with tight time lines.
• Ability to thrive in a small group with limited administrative support, developing and maintaining collaborative internal and external relationships.
