Learn and master the basic parameters and characteristics of Valmet fabrics, and fully understand the role and influence of the performance parameters of loom fabrics on the papermaking production process.
Make reasonable travel arrangements based on the requirements of salespeople, product managers, and customers.
Proficient in all service skills related to paper machine fabrics, able to provide customers with suggestions for improving paper machine operating efficiency or solving production operation problems through fabric inspection and loom inspection.
Works to establish close customer relationships. Manage and interpret customer requirements - listen to customers and use astute questioning to understand, anticipate and exceed their needs. and identify the source of problems through communication, testing, inspection, and discussion regarding customer complaints, grievances, and other feedback.
After each fabric inspection and testing, it is necessary to discuss and exchange views with the customer, and provide a neat service report according to the company's standard template. After completing the business trip, complete the visit report in Compass.
Update Compass to keep complete records of your customers' fabrics. If there are any potential quality issues, complete a quality feedback report in Compass and collect and post used fabrics samples to the laboratory as needed.
Improve, optimize, and save the integrity of service templates for your own customers.
Provide clear and accurate communication between our customers and Valmet Global product expert.
Reports product performance and customer’s feedback to sales, product manager and line manager. Follows competitors' business and reports to management.
Work closely with colleagues to achieve individual and team goals together.
Who We’re Looking For
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Paper industry.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Other Skills and Abilities: PC Knowledge, Excellent organizational skills, Deep knowledge of papermaking process, paper machinery, design and manufacturing.
Understanding of customer’s processes, targets and related business factors.
Good negotiation and communication skills.
Good command of English and Chinese language in writing and verbally.
