Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in related / relevant technical
discipline. Such as electrical, electronics, mechatronics, software,
automotive engineering or a similar technical discipline.
- At least one year of work experience as a
functional safety engineer/functional safety
manager, working with ISO 26262, or related safety standard.
- Work
experience as a Cybersecurity engineer/Cybersecurity manager, working with EU
regulation R155, R156; standard ISO21434; New National standard GB44495,
GB44496.
- Working knowledge of Quality system/tools, such as Automotive SPICE,
ISO/TS 16949, FMEA, FTA, FMEDA.
- Working knowledge of ISO/PAS 21448-SOTIF
- Experience working for an Automotive OEM or supplier is an asset.
- Experience with Model Based Engineering, UML or SysML is an asset.
- Experience of requirement management using DOORS / Polarion is an
asset.
Technical Skills
- At least three years hands on experience in embedded system
development, either as software, hardware or systems engineer
- Good communication skills in a global
international company.
- Good management of
multi tasks, multi customers
Language Skills
- English reading and
writing ability. CET 4 is preferred
- Good listening and speaking skills.

Responsibilities
- Plans the functional safety activities and cybersecurity activities throughout the
entire product development lifecycle. Maintain the safety plan and cybersecurity
plan and monitor the progress of related activities against it.
- Creation and
maintenance of the Functional safety concept, include item definition,
Hazard analysis and risk assessment, gain the safety goals, ASIL decomposition, gain functional safety
requirements.
- Identifying
potential cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk associated
with product
- Work cross-functionally with product teams,
software development, and hardware development to ensure system,
software and hardware compliance to the functional safety and cybersecurity standards and requirements.
- Drive and support engineering activities
according to ISO26262 standards and ISO21434 during all project phases (concept, product
development, production, post development)
- Co-ordinate & support internal/external
ISO 26262 and ISO21434 process/product
audits and assessments.
- Support
continuous improvement related to functional safety and cybersecurity
processes.
