Job Objective
• Define and Develop Overall Crash Structure for Front-, Side- and Rear Crash from Concept- to Serial-Production-Phase
• Steer Overall Vehicle Safety development with all relevant stakeholders (internal & external) and ensure all project milestones are reached
• Represent the overall vehicle safety development in the overall vehicle project and work with surrounding functional teams (e.g. RD, Project, Purchasing, …)
• Leading/Support cross functional working groups for implementing new features or solving issues
• Engaging in the team tasks for vehicle safety relevant topics, crash safety, rating, etc.
Education:
• University degree in mechanical/automotive engineering
Experience
• More than 5 years’ working experience in overall vehicle safety
• Profound Experience in designing and developing Overall Crash Structure from Concept- to Serial-Production-Phase
• Experience in CAE structure crash development
• Experience in dealing with complex situations as well as on issue solving
• Experience in supplier management
• Experience and confidence in conflict management and balance different stakeholder interest
Specific Knowledge:
• Professional knowledge of Overall vehicle safety, occupant safety and HV-Safety
• Professional knowledge of CAE in Overall Vehicle Safety (Pre- and Post-processing) preferably with LS-Dyna
• Strong communication skills with cross functional teams, joint venture partners and global RD departments
• Teamwork spirit, strong intercultural competence, and communication skills with various hierarchy levels
• Self-responsible working attitude and strong initiative, structured working styles
• Strong planning, reporting skills
• Strategic thinking mindset and strategic planning skills
• Fluent English and Chinese skills, German language skill is a plus
