Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Review all QA/QC procedures of the Contractors to determine their compliance with the requirements of their respective Contracts and their adequacy for their proposed application and to notify the Contractors accordingly

2. Review and approve, alter, amend or reject all Contractors’ inspection and test plans (ITP) as it deems appropriate to the nature and service of the items to be tested

3. Monitor the Contractors’ compliance with the QA/QC requirements of their respective Contracts

4. Review and as appropriate accept the Contractors’ hold, review and witness points in the construction programme relating to each ITP and also to permit inspection and testing of work prior to it being covered up to avoid incorporation into the Facilities of material and equipment with latent defects

5. Inspect incoming structural, mechanical, platework, and piping materials to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

6. Review mill test certificates (MTCs), vendor documentation, and material traceability logs.

7. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections, identifying defects or deviations.

8. Issue Material Receiving Reports (MRRs), inspection records, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

9. Monitor storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or degradation.

10. Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to resolve material quality issues.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of QA/QC experience in material inspection, preferably in SMPP or heavy industrial sectors.

2. Familiarity with material inspection standards (e.g., ISO 9001).

3. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.

需求

1. 5年以上材料检验QA/QC经验，有SMPP或重工业行业经验者优先。

2. 熟练的英文读写能力。
