1.Manage and coordinate the delivery of Stress Testing activities and programs for both Regulatory exercise and BAU risk management for the HBAP Traded Risk.
2.Support the development, implementation and enhancement of the Climate Risk framework and act as the subject matter expert of Climate Risk that are relevant to Traded Risk.
3.Engagement and coordination with Group stakeholders, Traded Risk Managers, IT and Transformation teams in coordinating and delivering of the stress testing agenda.
4.Conduct gap analysis, design requirements for meeting HSBC commitments and Regulatory expectations impacting Traded Risk.
5.Contribute to systems and infrastructure enhancement by taking part in UAT in requirements development.
6.Support the Regional team on BAU and Regulatory Stress Tests. Provide support on delivering.
Stress Testing Analysis tasks:
1.Scenario definition and design.
2.Assumption drafting and qualitative assessment.
3.Stress Testing run requirements definition for IT and Process teams.
4.Results validation and analysis.
5.Interaction with Group, Regional and Country teams.
6.Documentation and redaction of Basis of Preparation documents (assumptions, shocks calibrations, justification against regulatory expectations…) .
1.Proven experience in Traded Risk and/or Stress Testing and/or Climate Risk management area.
2.Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with at least degree level education in a quantitative discipline.
3.Ability to interpret complex risk reports from multiple sources and ability to identify key material risks.
4.Understanding of incoming regulatory directives impacting Markets businesses with good knowledge of Markets products.
5.Good communication and interpersonal skills, team player with ability to form strong working relationships.
6.Strong organizational, control, project management, communication, negotiation skills and Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
7.Advanced understanding of reporting requirements, data lineage, architecture within the bank will be advantageous.
8.Programming ability (e.g. Python...), experience in manipulating systems and databases will be advantageous.
