Task:
Prepare Reeving Work Plans for all reeving related projects.
Lead and manage all on site activities for reeving project.
Review lifting plans and risk assessments.
Coordinate with site management, service technicians, crane operators, riggers, and signalmen.
Ensure proper communication between all parties involved in the reeving and lifting activities.
Ensure that all lifting operations comply with local and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, LOLER, ISO).
Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Inspect lifting equipment (cranes, slings, shackles) before and after use.
Stop any unsafe operations immediately.
Ensure proper crane operations during reeving and lifting activities.
Ensure proper reeving, lifting and rigging techniques are used.
Monitor weather and environmental conditions that may impact reeving and lifting safety.
Ensure personnel involved are competent and certified.
Maintain records of lifting equipment inspections and certifications.
Prepare daily reeving reports.
Report near misses, incidents, and accidents promptly.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all services activities are executed in conformance to the required technical specifications and consistently maintain a high level of safety requirement.
General Requirement
Certification in Rigging and Lifting Operations preferred
In-depth knowledge of reeving, lifting equipment and related techniques.
Strong understanding of safety regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in wire rope, reeving and lifting operations.
The ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and know how to prioritize.
Requirements:
Education: Minimum Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Experience: At least 2-3 years relevant working experience.
Language: A good command of the English language verbally and in writing
Computer: Good in Microsoft office.
