Terminal Engineering Manager

Location: Fuzhou – Jiangyin

About Us

Fuzhou Ruihang Port Services Co. is a company focusing on container handling. We are seeking an experienced Terminal Engineering Manager to lead equipment maintenance, asset management, and technical readiness for our terminal.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the engineering & maintenance department, covering terminal equipment, facilities, and utilities.

· Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for:

o QC, RTGs, MHCs, forklifts, reach stackers, Trucks

o Terminal power systems, lighting towers, reefer points, Buildings, Pavements

o Workshop machinery and maintenance tools

· Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules (PMS) and ensure compliance with OEM standards.

· Oversee equipment inspections, fault diagnosis, spare parts planning, and vendor coordination.

· Ensure high equipment availability to support vessel operations (target uptime KPIs).

· Manage the engineering budget: CAPEX planning, OPEX control, spare parts procurement.

· Support commissioning, testing, and acceptance of new equipment as the terminal expands.

· Establish technical SOPs, safety standards, and emergency repair procedures.

· Ensure compliance with port safety regulations, electrical and mechanical standards, and environmental requirements.

· Work closely with Operations to optimize equipment deployment and turnaround.

· Management of port infrastructure maintenance and repair, including electrical, mechanical, and civil facilities.

Requirements

· Must have proficient English communication (CET-6)

· Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related fields.

· Minimum 15+ years engineering/maintenance experience in port terminals, logistics yards.

· Strong understanding of:

o Container-handling machinery (cranes, reach stackers, forklifts)

o Electrical systems, hydraulics, PLCs, and mechanical structures

· Proven ability to lead maintenance teams and manage contractors/vendors.

· Experience setting up engineering systems in new terminals or undergoing expansion is a major plus.

· Familiar with safety compliance: LOTO, equipment certification, lifting machinery regulations.

· Strong planning, troubleshooting, and project management abilities.

主要职责

· 负责领导工程与维修部门，管理码头所有设备、设施及公用系统。

· 管理下列设备的预防性与纠正性维护工作：

o 岸桥（QC）、RTG、门机（MHC）、叉车、正面吊、集卡等设备

o 码头供电系统、照明塔、冷藏插座、建筑物、道路/堆场地坪

o 维修车间的机械设备及维护工具

· 制定并实施预防性维护计划（PMS），确保符合OEM原厂技术标准。

· 负责设备巡检、故障诊断、备件计划、供应商协调等工作。

· 确保设备高可用性以支持靠泊船舶作业（达到既定设备运行率KPI）。

· 管理工程预算，包括CAPEX（资本支出）规划、OPEX（运营支出）控制、备件采购。

· 支持新设备的调试、测试与验收工作，配合码头扩建/扩容。

· 建立设备技术SOP、安全标准和紧急维修流程。

· 确保符合港口安全规定、机电标准及环保要求。

· 与运营部门紧密协作，优化设备调度与设备周转效率。

· 负责港口基础设施（电气、机械、土建等）的维护与维修管理。

任职要求

· 具备熟练的英语沟通能力（CET-6）。

· 本科及以上学历，机械、电气、机电一体化或相关专业。

· 至少15年以上港口码头、物流堆场相关工程/设备维护经验。

· 对以下领域具有扎实理解：

o 集装箱装卸机械设备（桥吊、正面吊、叉车等）

o 电气系统、液压系统、PLC、机械结构

· 具备领导维修团队、管理承包商/供应商的经验。

· 有新码头建设阶段或扩建阶段的工程体系搭建经验者优先。

· 熟悉安全合规体系：LOTO（上锁挂牌）、特种设备年检、起重机械法规等。

· 具备出色的规划能力、故障排查能力和项目管理能力。
