The Job Design concept and product acc. to internal / external requirements. Note: better to be
capable with sensor and PCB application with valve design.
Initiate benchmark, analyze competitor products, initiate patent research.
Use the design tools to ensure the components’ functionality, like the magnetic force,
responds time, structure reliability.
Make the tolerance stack up, output the assembly and components drawings.
Review design and development with internal / external partners.
Assure the feasibility for assembly by alignment of the drawing requirements with
prototype/ production and together make the PVP to validate the key manufacture
parameters.
Working with purchasing and quality department to develop qualified suppliers and
ensure the components with qualified performance.
Take the responsibility of DVP, release the product’s function and durability performance.
Be responsible for the creation and update of DFMEA.
Support application, production, supplier to meet quality, cost and timeline targets.
Check special release requests from production, suppliers and provide recommendations.
Support quality in case of quality complaints.
The Incumbent
Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical, electromagnetics, pneumatic, fluid mechanics
engineering or other relevant fields.
At least 5 years working experience in solenoid actuator/ solenoid valve development
( Compressed gaseous hydrogen storage, Automotive or industry field, automotive
application is the best) .
Experience in the development of high-pressure hydrogen solenoid valves for vehicle
cylinders or hydrogen refueling stations above 35MPa/70MPa is preferred.
Solid command of English in both written and spoken.
Experience with Electric-magnetic components development, like theoretical design,
product validation and components manufacture knowledge.
Has knowledge of solenoid valve control, like PWM control unit theory. Understand the
electronic components used for the control unit.
Better to have knowledge with solenoid valve control development and application
experience.
Be familiar with necessary tools and processes in the work, such as: CATIA, APQP, SAP,
FMEA, Maxwell etc
