Essential requirements:

• Qualification certificate of
  psychological counselor: hold a nationally certified psychological
  counselor qualification certificate.


• 2+ years experience of providing
  individual and group counselling services in a school setting and/or to
  children in a clinical setting


• Specialized knowledge in mental health
  education, including common psychological problems, psycho-educational
  methods, etc.


• Organised, outcome-focused, team
  player, positive but realistic


• Fluent in Mandarin to native level – so
  basically a local staff position, or overseas Chinese staff position in
  some special case


• English
  skills for daily use in the school, and for communicating with teachers
  etc., but not required for the actual counselling sessions which can be
  delivered in Mandarin.

Desirable requirements

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's
  degree or higher in psychology or related field.


• Teacher's qualification certificate


• (for leadership) skills and experience
  in leading a team
