Job Overview 岗位简介:
We are hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer to support quality assurance and supplier compliance activities on the ground in Xiamen and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of mass production and prototypes for supermarket fit-out products – including metal racking, checkouts, shelving, signage, and bespoke retail fixtures.

This position is part of The China Desk by Kinyu, supporting one of our key clients – a leading UK retail and fit-out contractor.
该职位属于 Kinyu中国代表处服务团队(The China Desk),为我们的一家英国零售装配龙头客户提供支持。

Key Responsibilities 主要职责:
1.Valuate new suppliers for furniture products (e.g., supermarket fixtures, display racks, storage equipment), conduct qualification audits.
负责家具类(超市商业家具如货架、展示柜等)新供应商资质审核及准入评估。
2.Lead on-site factory audits (production capability, quality systems, compliance, CSR), deliver audit reports and drive corrective actions.
主导供应商验厂(生产能力、质量管理体系、环保合规以及社会责任等),输出验厂报告并推动整改。
3.Assist with setting up the agreements and ensure compliance to the agreements and inspection standards aligned with client requirements (e.g., FSC, BSCI, ISO9001).
协助制定协议,确保协议和检验标准符合客户要求(如FSC、BSCI等)。
4.Monitor production quality, address defects (material/process-related), and lead 8D reports.
监控供应商生产过程质量,推动来料/生产缺陷的8D报告及改进。
5.Familiar with retail/supermarket client audit standards (e.g., Walmart, Carrefour), prepare for pre-audits and formal assessments.
熟悉商超客户验厂流程(如沃尔玛、家乐福),主导验厂预审及正式审核准备。
6.Ensure compliance with international regulations (REACH, CARB) and client-specific requirements.
确保供应商符合国际法规(如REACH、CARB)及客户特定要求。

Qualifications 任职要求:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering (furniture-related), or Supply Chain.
本科及以上学历,质量管理、机械工程、工业工程(家具相关)或供应链管理专业优先。
2.5+ years as SQE or in quality management, preferably in furniture/home/commercial equipment industries.
5年以上SQE或质量管理经验,家具/家居/商业设备行业背景必备。
3.Expertise in factory audits, experience with retail clients (e.g., IKEA, Walmart) is a plus.
精通验厂全流程,有大型商超客户(如 宜家、沃尔玛)验厂经验者优先。
4.Knowledge of furniture manufacturing (e.g., panel processing, metal welding, surface treatment).
熟悉家具生产工艺(如板材加工、金属焊接)及常见缺陷分析。
5.Proficient in quality tools (SPC, FMEA, APQP) and testing equipment (e.g., formaldehyde tester).
熟练运用质量工具(SPC、FMEA等)及检测设备(如甲醛测试仪)。
6.Fluent English (read/write for audit documentation), CET-6 or above.
英语读写熟练(能处理验厂文件),CET-6以上。
7.Strong communication skills to align cross-functional teams.
沟通协调能力佳,能推动内外部协作。
8.Willin8.gness to travel domestically to supplier locations (Fujian, Guangdong, etc.).
能接受国内出差(福建、广东等地)。
