Principal responsibilities
Lead or assist teammate to provide business & technical solution fit for business need.
Communicate with business users, work closely with business team globally on joint delivery
Design and develop risk system
Conduct system tests, user acceptance tests and provide support on system implementation
Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices
Prepare project-related documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking
Requirements
A university graduate with a degree in computer science, IT or a related discipline.
A minimum of 6 years' IT software development experience, preferably with rich Java experience of backend application development.
Welcome enthusiastic and self-motivated person to work as part of the team.
Good communication in English is required to work with global team.
Hand-on experience Java, Spring, J2EE and SQL technologies
Experienced in Spring and Java 8 or above; and in particular Spring Boot, Spring Boot Cloud, and Micro Services
What additional skills will be good to have?
Experienced with RESTful API design and development or Python is an advantage.
Experience in container technology such as Docker, Kubernetes is an advantage.
Knowledge on data warehouse or OLAP is an advantage.
