Duties and responsibilities
• Building and establishing a winning E-Commerce team
• Lead the team and work systematically with cross-functional teams and customers in creating business plans with the on-going review and optimization
• Responsible for E-Commerce channel and customer P&L management
• Deliver E-Commerce business targets, including but not limited to Gross Merchandising Value (GMV), net sales, conversion rate and number of brand followers in relevant online platforms
• Develop the strategy from customers & platforms breakdown, portfolio management to defining operational priorities and investments needed to deliver the double-digit growth performance for Brand
• Build strategic partnership with the online platforms to secure full support for the brand
• Together with the team, collaborate with E-Retail partners and external TP vendors to develop online marketing & merchandising plans
• Identify and implement new technologies, trends, and opportunities within the rapidly evolving Chinese E-Commerce landscape
Local leadership and other support activities
• Direct reporting line to General Manager in China Subsidiary
• Create and manage a local E-Commerce team
• Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
• Partner with the German HQ and local marketing team to identify creative needs for digital plan, manage and execute briefs to enrich the digital consumer journey
Qualifications to include:
• +10 years working experience in sales function, at least 7 years in e-commerce in a leading role
• Outstanding career track with progressively increasing leadership experience within FMCG industry
• Proven records of good team leadership and management
• Experience of managing brand E-Commerce business with proven track record in various platforms including Tmall, JD, PDD and Douyin,
• Experience in managing TP and strong skill sets in online store management
• Digital marketing proficiency
• Good strategic thinking and business acumen with strong analytical and communication skill
• A strong team player good at collaborating with internal functions and global teams to achieve shared goals.
• Experienced in MS office and platform data systems
• Strong data analysis and planning abilities
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and innovation skills
• Fast to learn and adapt new trends and changes in market.
• Ability to identify problems, decompose problems and structure solutions to solve problems.
• Positive and optimistic attitude combined with the willingness to go the extra mile
• Extensive and solid SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA Experience
• Prior experience in BI tools preferred
• High level competency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken)
