· Assist with classroom instruction and provide support and guidance to students primarily in English. Chinese should not be used unless essential.
· Design and implement a classroom system to track student progress, and take steps to ensure academic progress is where it should be. Communicate this with both the homeroom teacher and where necessary, to parents directly.
· Be responsible for the reinforcement of any tasks or work where children may be having difficulty. Again this should be communicated with the homeroom teacher and parents, so that all parties remain fully informed.
