FLNG Offshore Package Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, procurement, and integration of equipment packages for Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) facilities. Here are some key responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities
Manage the engineering, procurement, and installation of equipment packages for FLNG projects.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and offshore teams to ensure seamless package integration.
Conduct technical reviews of equipment specifications and performance requirements.
Support commissioning and startup activities for packaged equipment.
Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and optimizing package performance.
Work closely with rotating equipment specialists, process engineers, and maintenance teams.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
5+ years of experience in offshore FLNG/LNG projects.
Strong knowledge of package engineering, rotating equipment, and offshore systems.
Familiarity with API, ASME, and IEC standards.
Offshore certifications such as BOSIET/FOET.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
