### **About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced and technically versatile Power Systems Engineer to serve as the lead technical consultant for a major 100MW natural gas generator project destined for a data center in Texas, USA. This role will involve overseeing the technical aspects of the project from design through commissioning, and subsequently providing on-site professional support during the warranty period.
The ideal candidate will act as the key technical liaison between our company, equipment suppliers, and the end client, ensuring system reliability, compliance, and performance throughout the project lifecycle.

### **Key Responsibilities**
#### **A. Project Technical Coordination & Consultation**
- Review and validate technical specifications, drawings, and compliance documentation (UL, EPA, etc.) for generator sets, switchgear, and auxiliary systems.
- Coordinate with multiple suppliers (engine, alternator, control system, containerization, exhaust treatment) to ensure integrated system compatibility.
- Support the design and implementation of the high-voltage (13.8kV) paralleling system and synchronization controls.
- Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT), ensuring all technical and performance criteria are met.
- Provide technical guidance during installation, commissioning, and load testing phases.
#### **B. On-Site Warranty & Operational Support**
- Reside on-site or be readily available at the client’s Texas data center location during the warranty period (1 year minimum, extendable).
- Perform routine system inspections, performance monitoring, and preventive maintenance coordination.
- Troubleshoot operational issues, coordinate with local service partners (e.g., Cummins, Stamford), and manage spare parts logistics.
- Train client operational staff on system handling, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed service reports and system performance logs for ongoing optimization.

### **Qualifications & Experience**
#### **Required**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with power generation systems, preferably in gas/diesel generators, paralleling switchgear, and medium-voltage applications.
- Proven background in engineering oversight of large-scale power projects (ideally >20MW) and familiarity with data center backup power infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of U.S. electrical standards, UL certifications, EPA emissions requirements, and NFPA/NEC codes.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); Mandarin proficiency is a plus for supplier coordination.
- Ability to work independently in a cross-cultural, multi-vendor project environment.
#### **Preferred**
- Previous experience working on U.S.-based power generation or data center projects.
- Familiarity with Cummins gas engines, Stamford/Leroy Somer alternators, and DeepSea/ComAp control systems.
- Existing U.S. work visa or eligibility for visa sponsorship.
- Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
