• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Engineering,
Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in furniture product engineering, ideally in the
high-end or premium segment.
• Proven experience working with external manufacturing partners
(OEMs) and internal cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of furniture construction (upholstery and case good)
lighting products , materials (leather, wood, metal, upholstery, stone,
glass, etc.), and finishing processes.
• Familiarity with international product compliance and safety standards
(e.g., US, EU, UK, Asia-Pacific, etc.).
• Owns track record of continuous learning and adaptability to new
designs and markets
• Proficiency in CAD and product documentation tools (AutoCAD,
SolidWorks, or equivalent).
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with parties from different
levels and cultural backgrounds, and care for details
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks under tight schedule in a matrix
organization and in cross-functional business teams
• Strong problem identifying and solving skill as well as good sense of
urgency
• Demonstrated leadership potential, with the ability to manage a team
and influence cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluency in English
• Adaptability for international and domestic travels
