Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and implement lesson plans based on school curriculum standards and students' proficiency levels.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered English learning environment for students.
• Teach comprehensive English skills including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and may involve specific subjects (such as literature, science, etc.).
• Regularly assess students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Actively participate in school's teaching research activities and training programs.
• Maintain good and regular communication with students' parents to report on students' learning status.
• Participate in and organize school-related extracurricular activities, English corners, festival celebrations, etc. (if applicable).
• Abide by all school rules and regulations as well as relevant laws and regulations of China.
Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory
• Nationality: Citizens of English-speaking countries (e.g., the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.).
• Education: Bachelor's degree or above.
• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience (experience requirements may be appropriately relaxed for holders of TEFL/TESOL certificates).
• Certificate: Hold an internationally recognized English teaching qualification certificate such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA (with a duration of more than 120 hours).
• Background check: Provide a certificate of no criminal record.
• Health status: In good health, meeting the physical examination standards for foreigners working in China.
• Age: Usually 22-35 years old (in accordance with China's work visa policy).
• Work visa: Meet all the requirements for applying for a Foreigner's Work Permit in China (Z visa).
Preferred
• Hold a degree in education-related majors.
• Have teaching experience in [Asia/China].
• Have experience in teaching specific curriculum systems (e.g., IB PYP/MYP/DP, AP, IGCSE, A-Level).
• Have basic Chinese communication skills.
• Cheerful personality, patient, strong adaptability, and good cross-cultural communication skills.
