Role Summary:
The verification/validation engineer is responsible for leading the design verification and validation activity, the scope includes from verification/validation inputs analysis, scope definition and timeline/resource planning, to the execution the task according to test procedure and GE QMS (Quality Management System).
This role is critical to ensure that GE new design product meets the design requirements and GE product quality requirements.
Essential Responsibilities:
Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Be responsible for performing system and sub-system verification to ensure the system/sub-system functionality and performance as design requirement.
• Analyze related design Inputs, design outputs, and design changes which would trigger or impact verification/validation, to define the verification/validation scope and make the verification plan.
• Creation of the verification/validation procedures and release the test reports.
• Integration of Vascular system, sub-system, 3rd part equipment (e.g. injector, cycler, testing tools, etc), basic troubleshooting is needed during the integration.
• Execution of tests for system/IQ (image quality)/Service/Sub-System/SW/Certification, etc.
• Submit defect when a defect was found during tests and integration, and track the defect fixing status by communicating with development teams.
• Proceeding design changes related tasks.
• Preparing and maintaining system configurations to support verification/validation needs.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrics/Electronics/Automation or equivalent experience.
• More than 5 years' experience, 3 years' experience with verification.
• Strong analytical and Problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of Quality assurance processes and methods used in verification and validation.
• Good understanding and writing ability for English documentations.
Desired Characteristics:
• Master’s degree in electrical/Electronics/automation control preferred.
• Good knowledge of Design Inputs, Design Outputs and strategies/methodologies for design verification and validation.
• Experience with Medical Device is preferred.
• Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
• Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills.
• Global project experience preferred.
• Fluent English communication.
