Medical & Scientific support for external stakeholders

1) Exchange and dissemination of scientific, medical, and research related information:

KOL Identification / profiling / segmentation and strategy and engagement planning.

Communicate scientific data about Santen products and therapeutic area with KOLs in a fair, balanced and objective manner

Respond to unsolicited requests for information that is outside product labeling or related to an investigational product

2) Organize/support/participate Medical educational activities/Advisory Boards/symposia:

Plan and organize medical education activities with KOLs within their specific therapeutic area

Organize/support/participate in advisory boards to get medical insight

3) Collect investigators’ideas and facilitate research completion:

Act as a contact person for investigators to collect scientific ideas to address unmet medical needs.

Facilitate the interface with investigators and physicians for concept communication and interview.

Communicate and track study progress, site&PI recommendation, patient recruitment and CRA communication.

4) Assist Investigator Initiated Study (IST): submit investigator designed proposals for review and approval; facilitate research publication of IST studies supported by S, in strict compliance with HQ and local guidance.



Medical & Scientific Support for internal stakeholders

1) Act as a qualified field-based expert in the therapy area(s)

2) Provide scientific training to the corresponding commercial team members

3) Contribute to the development of field Brand Strategies by communicating medical insight and knowledge derived from KOLs, scientific publications and treatment trends.

4) Participate in corresponding commercial team activities to provide medical input.
