Responsibilities and Main Tasks:
1. Main technical interface between defined strategic customer(s) and AT&S Plants (excluding PF).
2. Coordination/Implementation of all tech. customer(s) requirements (design related) within the AT&S Organization to ensure total customer(s) satisfaction.
3. Collaborate closely with Engineering/PF teams to understand technical requirements and feasibility.
4. Central position for new project release and tech. questions from customer(s) (design related)
5. Provide technology solutions and advice customer(s) regarding product specifications and capabilities on a regular base.
6. Leader in tech. meetings with customer(s) (presentations, discussions, …).
7. Responsible for tech. feasibility checks on new customer projects or inquiries.
8. Technical allocation of new customer projects to the relevant plant within AT&S.
9. Prepare and provide accurate and timely quotations in response to customer(s) inquiries.
10. Support the development and implementation of a systematic approach for quotation processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
11. Continuously evaluate and optimize the quotation process for improved competitiveness.
12. Support discussions with Finance and Controlling teams to ensure pricing and cost structures are competitive and aligned with company goals.
13. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics and competitors to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
14. Preparation of tech. requirements for specific products/new markets.
15. Prepare regular reports and analysis related to quotations and market trends.
16. Use data-driven insights to make informed recommendations and decisions.
17. Support the development of technical roadmaps (customer and plant specific).
18. Joint work with R&D to realize future technologies.
Requirement:
1. BA or MA in Engineering (or a related field) paired with commercial knowledge and understanding
2. In-depth knowledge of IC-Substrates and HDI PCB, including manufacturing processes, materials, technical aspects and quality standards
3. 3+ years of experience in HDI PCB/Substrate industry in a Sales Engineer or Product Engineer role
4. Experienced leader in projects to implement technical customer requirements
5. Experienced functional leader for defined customer(s) for product engineers in individual plants
6. Strong customer and market orientation with the ability to identify future trends and relationships
7. Excellent functional leadership skills of remote teams
8. Strong team and social orientation
9. Good IT Skills
10. Ability to work under pressure
11. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
12. Excellent English skills, oral and in written
13. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
14. Willingness to travel
