Job Description for HVAC System Project Management PositionI. Core Positioning
This position focuses on the full-lifecycle management of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, covering solution design, project advancement, bid support, and after-sales support. It requires both profound technical expertise in HVAC and overall project coordination capabilities, while also demanding adaptability to international work requirements (studying and working in Germany). It serves as a key role connecting technical implementation, customer needs, and team execution.
II. Core Job Responsibilities(I) Full-Process Management of Technical Solutions
- Lead the end-to-end solution design of the project's HVAC system, including load calculation, system selection (e.g., central air conditioning, multi-split air conditioning), and pipeline layout, ensuring the solution meets project requirements, industry standards, and energy-saving criteria;
- Conduct reviews of HVAC system solutions, organize technical discussions with relevant parties (such as design institutes, construction teams, and customers), identify and resolve technical risks or defects in the solutions, and optimize the design for cost-effectiveness and constructability;
- Provide continuous technical follow-up throughout the project implementation phase, track the progress of HVAC system installation, commissioning, and acceptance, and offer technical guidance to address on-site technical issues in a timely manner.
(II) Project Planning and Execution Supervision
- Develop detailed work plans for HVAC system-related segments of the project, clarify phase objectives, task division, time nodes, and resource allocation, and align the plans with the overall project schedule;
- Guide and supervise the specific implementation of work at each phase (including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning), check the quality and progress of tasks against the plan, and adjust the work plan promptly in response to project changes or unexpected situations to ensure the project proceeds as scheduled;
- Conduct regular project progress meetings, summarize phase work results, analyze existing problems (such as delays, quality deviations), and propose corrective and preventive measures.
(III) Bid Support for Projects
- Participate in the bidding process of projects, conduct feasibility analysis on the HVAC system segment based on bidding documents, project site conditions, and customer needs, including technical feasibility, cost feasibility, and schedule feasibility;
- Design targeted HVAC system solutions for bidding projects, prepare technical bid documents (including solution descriptions, technical parameters, process flow diagrams, and investment estimates), and ensure the solutions are competitive in terms of technology and cost;
- Cooperate with the sales and cost teams, provide technical explanations and support for the bid, answer technical questions from the bid evaluation committee, and participate in bid defense if necessary.
(IV) After-Sales Service Support for Customers
- Provide technical support for after-sales service of HVAC systems, including answering customers' technical inquiries (such as system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting), and guiding customers or on-site maintenance personnel to handle common faults remotely;
- Organize or participate in on-site after-sales service work for complex technical issues, such as system performance testing, fault diagnosis, and maintenance plan formulation, to ensure the normal operation of the customers' HVAC systems;
- Collect feedback from customers on the performance and service of the HVAC system, summarize common after-sales issues, and provide suggestions for optimizing product design or service processes to improve customer satisfaction.
III. Job Requirements
- Education Background: Bachelor's degree or above in HVAC, Refrigeration, Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering, or other related majors;
- Work Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in HVAC engineering design or project management; experience in managing large-scale commercial complex projects is preferred;
- Language Proficiency: CET-4 (College English Test Band 4) or above, with good English reading and writing skills to handle international technical documents and communications;
- Management and Coordination Abilities: Possess strong technical team management capabilities, be able to effectively lead and motivate the team to complete technical tasks; have excellent project resource coordination capabilities, including coordinating human, material, and financial resources to ensure smooth project implementation;
- Comprehensive Competencies: Have outstanding communication skills, be able to communicate effectively with internal teams (such as design, construction, and sales) and external parties (such as customers, suppliers, and design institutes); possess strong organizational and coordination skills to handle multiple tasks and complex project scenarios; have good pressure resistance to cope with tight project schedules and high-intensity work;
- International Adaptability: Be willing to study and work in Germany; proficiency in German is a plus (able to conduct daily communication and basic technical exchanges in German).
