Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement IT strategy to Hormel China
Identify the business needs and business transformation ideas to deliver value to the company, connect what is needs and what is possible , and translate to multi-year IT strategy.
Provide function input to the whole China team, and align with Corporate IT guideline
Own the annual IT plan, drive regular IT review with key stakeholders, and prioritize the outstanding service request and incident resolutions.
Act as a business technology advisor to whole China leadership team, partnership with all business team to seek solutions and add value.
2. Lead ERP (SAP HANA) implementation project, ensure the solution can meet business needs and can be implemented successfully, plan IT function expertise role and also play as a project manager role on the ERP project.
3. Business engagement and IT leadership
Act as IT function head to communicate or provide all technology requirement, training, guideline, compliance etc.
Master overall business models and processes and their application within IT systems.
Be an inspiring leader for the IT team, improve the whole team’s capability and setting high standards.
4. Business Partnership
Leverage cloud and global resources to build the agile, stable and cost-effective IT infrastructure. Lead the design and modeling of tactical data structure for business to deliver solutions to enable BI applications that have long-term business value.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least Bachelor’s degree holder in IT or related disciplines. Or PMP, CISA certification holders
- 8-12 years of quantitative experience working in IT PMO or IT finance BP
- SAP ERP implementation experience is a must
- MS Excel and PPT skill is a must
- Experience working with large quantities of data and a demonstrated aptitude of analyzing data and communicating analysis to business stakeholders
- Strong project management capabilities to lead and support both China & Global projects.
- Good interpersonal skill, good at establishing effective partnership with people with different background, strong sense of responsibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Proficient in spoken and written English

- Comprehensive basic information system Knowledge (System panning, System Administration and System Security)
- Strategic planning: develops long-term objectives and strategies; translates strategies into realistic business operations,
- Result Orientations and has the ability to lead effective change
- Sound Judgement: makes timely decisions; readily understands complex issues; develops solutions that effectively address problems.
- Experience in financial analysis is a plus
- Prior experience in food industry or FMCG is a plus
- Fluent in English
