Main Duties:
1. Co-work with product engineering to do CAE simulation analysis to verify the design can meet the specifications and customer requirements.
2. Seek new simulation software and methodology to improve the accuracy of simulation result, guarantee that the simulation results can match physical sample test results.
3. Communicate with product/process engineers to understand the real issue and do some FEA analysis to optimize the product or process to improve the product quality and operating process efficiency.
4. Communicate with manufacturing for technical support provided, problem solving assisted, and general program involved from Engineering department.
5. Work with management to enhance the engineering capabilities.
Education, Experience & Knowledge Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree.
2. With mechanical engineering major in college
3. At least 3 years of CAE experience for product, in connector field is preferred.
4. Be familiar with connector including structural design, electronic performance.
5. Be familiar with CAE software such as Ansys , Abaqus, Creo and Hyper mesh …
6. Be familiar with the tools using on automotive product design (APQP / PPAP / FMEA / SPC / MSA / DOE…)
7. Be familiar with special character requirements for different automotive customers.
