 Undertake mechanical design/system design, analysis tasks for DT’s X-Ray detector modules.

 Produce well-written technical documents for TC/PC programs, PM/EC projects.

 Perform tolerance analysis, testing and GD&T.

 Find suitable materials for the product, create and test prototypes.

 Convert customer’s requirements to design specifications.

 Work with BU’s, chief engineer and customers to initialize projects: including work amount estimation, technical risk analysis, specification preparation, Design
and development work breakdown, etc.

 Handling of technical discussions inside program/project team or with any potential technology partners.

 Technical documents review and approval

 Coordinate mechanical design and development tasks including design, integration/subsystem level assembly and formal testing

 Mechanical design process/procedure document maintenance and update.

 Play leading role in solving technical challenge of mechanics design.

 Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned.

 Support responsibility to all functional managers.

 Customer technical Support.

 Technical support for production and failure analysis in project phase and RMA cases.

 Production process fixture design.

Essential

l Highly experienced using CAD Software: CREO for 2D and 3D drawings.

l Experience in mechanics tolerance analysis and accuracy alignment design.

l Experience in PCBA board mechanical design and 3D modelling, and EMC design.

l Experience in mechanical material and manufacture process selection to get the best performance/cost ratio.

l Experience in product concept design/system design and 3D modelling.

l Knowledge of X-Ray radiation protection design and mechanical enclosure protection design.

l Proven technical leadership.

Desirable

l Good English and local language skills, deals or negotiates in both
local and English languages.

lExcellent time management and organization skills.

l Proficiency with Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Outlook

l Experience in PTC WindChill.

l Ability to lead, motivate and develop a small R&D technical team.

Qualifications

l Master or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

l 8 or more years of broad technical experience, of which at least 5 years should be in product design and development.
