• Establish a clear set of objectives, coming from the Purchasing Manager
• Ensure Buyers have the training they need, including in Rand systems, SOPs, supplier maps, commodity knowledge and market updates (pricing, lead time)
• Monitor req execution as the “control tower” to ensure Buyers are quoting the best sources, effectively communicating with Sales, negotiating for the best outcome (pricing, lead time, date codes / quality, etc.)
• Monitor overall performance for Buyers on their team, including Hit Rate
• Work closely with buyer to solve any issue they need during the daily work and escalate any, as needed.
• Manage team members’ workload and make adjustments if necessary.
• Monitor the team’s open orders and expedite or updates PO dates as appropriate
• Collaborate with buyers to work with supplier to solve PO fall outs
• Work with buyers to regular review vendor map for each commodity and train them on capabilities of any new sources.
• Work closely with sales team to understand which reqs are high confidence or other details to help set expectations and deliver the best options / results
• Contribute to development and implementation of purchasing strategies and processes to ensure cost-effective procurement.

This includes the ability to articulate a wide variety of subject matter clearly to stakeholders
• Intermediate or higher skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment

【岗位要求】

• 5+ years of experience as a Buyer in the electronics distribution / independent distributor
industry
• 2+ years in a supervisory role is preferred
• Deep knowledge of electronic component sourcing in the open market and relationships with
related suppliers (franchise, strategic sources (IDH, manufacturers, CMs, etc.), and brokers
• High School Diploma or equivalent
