Core Responsibilities

Supports Marketing and Sales Engineering team.
Manage incoming phone, electronic inquiries and requests.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Collaboration

• Coordinate the handling of incoming inquiries with various departments such as Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Estimating, Customer Service, Quality.

• Support Marketing/Sales Engineers while they are out or unavailable

Execution

• Monitors and manages the Smalley RFQ from E-commerce, inbox, website.

• Reviews , evaluates and process’s incoming E-commerce, emails, incoming phone calls, request for quotes (RFQ’s) and other internal & external customer inquiries

• Qualifying the leads, Championing Customer needs, set up accounts which
are qualified in the systems.

• Cross-references customer part numbers, Smalley part numbers and other customer specifications

• Enters incoming RFQ’s into the quote entry program

• Distributes RFQ’s to Sales, Estimating and Engineering for quote processing

• Proactively performs temperature, annual and qualifying calls to customers

• Process’s incoming request by evaluating and either log into the system or assign to the appropriate
department.

• Call in and perform follow up on quotations/samples

• Provides information to Management regarding incoming opportunities, goals and performance metrics

• Paper work supporting, for example supplier investigation forms.

• Other tasks assigned by the manager

Experience & Background

1) 4-year Bachelor Degree, major in Business, mechanical or related.

2) Over 1-year sales related experience

3) Strong computer skills

4) Technical abilities a plus.

5) Good English skill both in written and reading

6) Communicating effectively

7) Supporting changes & Innovation

8) Good team player.
