Job Responsibilities
The appointee will be required to:
1. Coordinate and support the planning and execution of various Centre activities, including workshops, seminars, training sessions, and collaborative events. This includes pre-event preparation, logistics management, and post-event follow-up.
2. Coordinate faculty professional development programs, including organizing sessions, inviting guest speakers, and facilitating registration and attendance.
3. Support the daily operation of the Centre by performing administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records, managing correspondence, and coordinating internal and external communications.
4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote the Centre’s programs and initiatives, including developing promotional materials and updating the Centre’s website and social media channels.
5. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director/Unit.
Job Requirements
1. A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in an educational or academic setting.
2. Proficiency in graphic design and demonstrated skill in using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other visual design tools) for creating posters, illustrations, and multimedia content.
3. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently and meet deadlines.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
5. Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and familiarity with digital teaching tools.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and external partners.
7. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Note: This is a two-year grant-funded position and the renewal will be based on the availability of funds and work performance.
