Task：
• Discussing the work with production management , head of welding department, colleague supervisors and quality control coordinators.
• Preparing and distributing the scopes of work and giving instructions to employees;
• Implement and monitor progress of work.
• Implement and monitor the compliance with safety, health, environmental and other operating conditions, Identify any problems and propose possible solutions.
• Actively participate in Risk Assessments, JSA(Job safety analysis), and WPA(work place assessment).
• Encouraging and guiding work consultation through regular “toolbox meetings”.
• To oversee the instructions of welding personnel and to ensure that they are adequately informed and familiar with their assignment.
• Provide and share knowledge and experience, solve problems arising during production.
• Provide and share knowledge and experience in determining welding sequence, welding direction and like to prevent stresses and strains resulting in deformations.
• Supervise visual welding inspections performed by welding foremen on finished welds and assemblies in workshops and final inspections after blasting;
• Discuss with welding engineer and welding foremen work related matters and check if sufficient qualified welders are available for execution of the welding work scopes.
• Advice of work improvement and efficiency to production supervisors and foremen.
• Follow production planning and production sequence according to production plan.
• In cooperation with production manager organize overtime and assign people to jobs.
• Other tasks assigned by the management.
Responsibilities:
Careless handling within the job can lead to personnel injury, environmental damage, and material damage, loss of production or goodwill damage.
• Promote and stimulate the awareness of everyone, concerning his or her responsibility for quality, safety, health and environment.
• Contributes to the business through consultation with production management during construction meetings (ad-hoc) meetings to determine methods, manufacturing techniques, logistics and efficiency.
• Report to the production management and head of the welding department on all noncompliance rules and activities related to production.
• Assess the manner of performance of duties of its employees and independent advice based on such personnel matter to production manager and head welding department.
• Report to the head of the welding department on all non-compliance rules and activities
related to production welding.
• Understanding of and application of quality codes and standard requirements.
• Interpretation of weld drawings and welding symbols.
• Assure the efficient and effective execution of all assigned tasks.
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents in the workplace including damaged equipment or facilities.
• Establish, unify and implement measures of visual acceptance according HCN and Client applicable standards.
Safety Management
• As a Team Leader, play a role as a good safety sample; Responsible to instruct team to take pro-actively measures of safety in daily operation; Monitor the compliance discipline within group scope, take quick actions to any reported/observed safety hazards; Feedback to HSE and immediately Supervisor on hazards or improvements programme.
• Implement relevant national safety laws and regulations, company safety rules and regulations, formulate and improve workshop safety management system;
• Take responsible for the safety management, supervision and inspection of the workshop led by the dept. head.

Requirements
• Education: Technical College or above
• Experience: Five years of working experiences in similar function.
• Language: Able to communicate fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin
• Computer: Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint (version 2010).
• Certificate: PCN Visual Inspection Level 2
• Others: Reliable, stress resistant, good appearance, independent, loyal, creative, discreet, good understanding of technical and business vocabulary, friendly.
Familiar with the company's rules and regulations, safety production processes and operating procedures.
