What You’ll Do:
- Lead product engineering initiatives for LiDAR and optical products, including failure analysis, production testing, and design improvements.
- Collaborate with global customers on product design and serve as a technical interface.
- Apply AI, Big Data, and digital factory concepts to engineering projects.
- Drive DFx, reliability testing, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce new technologies to the team.
Represent Jabil in industry forums, publications, and conferences.

What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or higher in Optics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering (Master/PhD preferred).
- 8+ years in optical product R&D; 5+ years in LiDAR design and testing.
- Deep knowledge of VCSEL, SPAD, SIPM, camera/lens systems, and LiDAR manufacturing processes.
- Experience with MATLAB, ZMAX, FEA, and LiDAR communication protocols (e.g., CAN).
- Familiarity with automotive product standards and reliability testing.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in global teams.
- Industry recognition (e.g., publications, speaking engagements) is a plus.
