As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we are seeking a skilled Test Architect in infotainment domain to lead the cross-platform test strategy and internal test automation platform build up aimed at enhancing test efficiency, fast iteration, and on time product delivery.
• The test architect will play a critical role in designing and implementing a cross-platform test strategy that ensures sustainable test expansion to cover all MB platforms. You will be responsible for reviewing current test strategy, defining automation capability build up plan, and ensuring the implementation. You will work closely with test teams and tooling team to support the product's delivery and coordinate timelines of automation tooling implementation.
• Lead and define Cross Platform test strategy aiming to increase test efficiency and cross platform coverage.
• Lead and define Test automation strategy in infotainment domain.
• Evaluate current test tooling capability, work with tooling team to expend automation tooling landscape
• Design new test infrastructure to fulfil new system design and functional testing goals.
• Continuous improvement of testing data usage and guide testing team to implement data-driven testing.
• Lead & organize group engineers in different locations to achieve final automation and efficiency improvement goal.
• Work closely with cross-platform test teams to increase test automation ratio in delivery test.
• Able to adapt test automation tooling to fulfil urgent needs.
• Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely and successful product launch.
• Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to the project development process.
• Monitor product performance and user feedback post-launch, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvements.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, with test architecture experience will be perfect.
• Proven experience as a Test Lead, preferably in the automotive industry or a related field.
• Proven experience of cross carline, cross platform digital product delivery
• Strong understanding of test efficiency goal and experience of improvement practice.
• Practical experience of test automation infrastructure build up and management.
• Strong management skill to lead a tech team.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance. Self-motivated and able to prioritize conflicting demands effectively.
• Self-responsible working attitude and initiative.
• Very organized, structured , and proactive in doing day and day work.
Specific Knowledge
• English as working language and German is a plus.
