Thermal requirement definition and management
• Competitive analysis of thermal management and HVAC system
• Clarify thermal requirements with project team and sale team.
• Define CN specific thermal functions or features (e.g. AC zones, pre-conditioning, UI, air vents etc.)
• Work with "system managers" (responsible for the system behaviour inside the air path and heating/cooling system with refrigeration circuit and heat pump), "E/E system spokespersons" (diagnostic scopes, communication, commissioning), "module group spokespersons" (project coordination and schedules, costs and weight) and "system integrators" (customer-oriented acceptance, vehicle and testing coordination) as a team to ensure the achievement of goals and customer satisfaction.
Function Development and Applications\
• Carry out V-model-based software development by working together with the component teams (hardware and software) in RD China and RD/KIT as well as with a variety of other interface partners.
• End-to-end responsible for software requirement, modelling, implementation, testing, calibration and release regarding CN spec. features of localized carlines.
• Use MiL & SiL & HiL validation to ensure software is robust & efficient
• Conduct SW application and system calibration in various vehicle load cases.
Troubleshooting and change management
• Serve as interface for all thermal comfort relevant software issues.
• Troubleshooting and debugging in collaboration with RD Germany
• Ensure the correct software version used in NNP carlines
• Issue tracking and reporting for management transparency
• Hot fix /Engineering change throughout product lifecycle.
System release
• Conduct system & vehicle level testing in the climatic wind tunnel & road tests to ensure functionality and system reliability.
• Ensure system release completion according to project timeline
• Observe series quality from the customer's point of view and manage series changes by working in an interdisciplinary and agile manner.
Education
Bachelor/Master/PHD degree of automotive engineering
Experience
1. Over 10 years of working experience within automobile industry.
2. Over 5 years working experience with AC system suppliers or OEMs, especially in Thermal software & system field.
Specific Knowledge
1. Self-responsible working attitude and independent problem-solving skills
2. good knowledge about Software V-cycle, encompassing the topics of requirement engineering, software implementation, unit testing(MiL & SiL) & HiL validation
3. Familiar with software development tools, such as Labview, Matlab Simulink, AutoSar, Vector tools, etc.
3. System knowhow in thermal comfort & thermal management system, as well as solid knowledge about the core components, such as HVAC, e-Compressor, Heaters, Radiator & Condenser, etc.
4. Strong planning and organizational skills, Intercultural competence
5. Good communication skills with external parties and internal parties
6. Good English or German(written/spoken)
