Main Objectives
Support our scope of services includes design, construction and maintenance of physical security systems. Platforms include access control systems, video surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems, data networks, and systems integration.
Major responsibilities
1. Support Dell SROP team to evaluate design for security solutions for client sites
2. Perform engineering including selecting technology and products, performing design calculations and developing installation drawings
3. Develop cost savings initiatives in the areas of system design, design processes, and quality assurance initiatives.
4. Work with manufacturers to stay abreast of technology advancements and to provide the best products for the applications.
5. Writing test plans and procedures
6. Programming networks and systems for the specific applications
7. Testing and commissioning systems
8. Assisting technicians in troubleshooting system problems
9. Perform other engineering activities as assigned by the client to support process improvements.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
1. 3+ years of experience in the electronic security or communications industry.
2. Bachelor of Science degree in any field (or an acceptable and equivalent combination of education and experience.)
3. Proficient knowledge in Microsoft® Excel, Microsoft® Word, Microsoft® Project, Microsoft® Visio
4. Have good communications skills, both oral and written.
