Purpose of Job
Responsible for Test Lab development and enhancement projects. Works independently or with cross-functional disciplines on key tasks associated with a project. Internal & External Communication is critical to the success of the role.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
• Coordinate incoming testing activities related to the Liquid Coolant Data Center products with a heavy concentration of the coupling products. This will require close collaboration with the LCDC team to ensure priorities are known, that the lab/engineering are prepared to accept the products for immediate testing, that tests request are thoroughly understood and correct coming into the lab so the technicians have clear and concise instructions and that feedback of results to the engineer are both qualitative and quantitative and well documented
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop new test protocols and equipment to meet emerging market testing needs.
• Responsible for researching testing needs for emerging markets.
• Technical lead of test lab projects as well as project manager for smaller ones, this role collaborates with or lead the project team in a transversal way: definition of priorities, scheduling, organize, coordinate and lead meetings...
• Conduct necessary verifications (calculations, stack-ups, etc..) to justify design choices during design reviews
• Develop drawings for test lab equipment and components
• Coordinate the manufacturing of components internally and with subcontractors.
• Define and document test plans and coordinate their achievement to ensure that testing is repeatable and meet the customers specifications.
• In close collaboration with the customer, you will work with them to delegate inside Danfoss throughout the life of the project: from the definition of the specification to providing final test results.
• Coordinate and ensure the implementation of Lab projects with quality and safety departments.
• Ensure to update all lab technical data in the existing PLM system.
• Demonstrate use of Six Sigma tools, continuous improvement tools, Product and Process FMEA, help to implement Control plan, APQP, PPAP to ensure product and process reliability.
• Participate in R&D activities within the connector’s product group demonstrating creativity, appetite for new learnings and problem-solving capacities.
• Lead a “Hose Failure Analysis” team of experienced engineers in a collaborative environment to document historic findings of product failures for the benefit of future generations of engineers
• Assist off site engineers in hose tear down and analysis and documentation of findings.

Background & Experience
• Bachelor degreee or advanced, 3 years' + related experience.
• Define test lab specifications considering customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Achieve design work package, justify choices and provide all technical information which are necessary to produce test equipment and test processes.
• Respect safety instructions and workstation standards and Report any incident that may endanger one's health and/or safety and that of colleagues
