The jobholder is responsible for:
management and leadership of a multicultural front office manufacturing engineering team and assure the technical leadership of all ME activities with regard to quality standards to achieve airworthiness, customer satisfaction, in time delivery, best practices and cost
to be the focal point for all tasks belonging to the ME Team
support to the flow line production in all aspects concerning work orders (serial, non-serial, and first implementation process) for all aircraft systems
Manage Process review and set up optimization when possible
manage the interface with of Jigs & Tools Department

The jobholder:
It is in charge to manage and lead the front office manufacturing engineering team and assures the technical leadership of all M.E. activities with regard to quality standards to achieve airworthiness, customer satisfaction, in time delivery and cost
manage the interfaces with back office ME, MAP organization in CH and EU , design office in EU, supply chain organization in CH and EU, programs, quality assurance in CH and EU,
manage all needs concerning work orders (e.g. design and work process question)
prevents and clarifies together with the other operation teams any disturbances in the production process by anticipation
Organize process review and corrective action when necessary in liaison with Flow Line, Quality and ME Back Office
guarantees fast response in case of decisions or corrective actions to be taken, conflicts to be solved, support to be organized and achieving a short lead time for responding to the NC’s and Practical Problem Solving (PPS) action plans
Support the NC process by steering and filtering all NC’s and trouble shooting, creating Work Order for NC and being the interface to MAP engineering, Supply Chain and Quality.
Guarantee implementation of Major Modifications in the Flow Line Processes (such as NEO project, Head of Version,..)
selects the best people for the different jobs, develop their skills, coach them and ensuring replacements of EU staff by good training of CH be the focal point for Jigs & Tools in liaison with J&T department and ME Back Office which has to be integrated in the budget for the next years
Launch any Jigs & Tools modification when needed

The jobholder will:
Take care for the delivery of all work orders, which are needed to built the aircraft
Take care for a fast and practical solution of any NC and follow up them
Take care for the managing and realization of necessary resources for staff ME and investments for the improvement of Jigs & Tools to secure world class competitiveness and profit
