This role is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting functions of the business. The Finance Manager will lead the day-to-day financial operations of the club and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting across all financial functions. This role will play a key part in supporting business performance, driving financial efficiency, and maintaining strong internal controls.
Key Deliverables:
Accounts Payable, Receivable & Credit Control
Oversee and ensure operation of full-spectrum accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and bank reconciliations
Process supplier invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and manage payment runs;
Manage company credit card expenses and assist with creditor aging reviews
Issue and manage debtor invoices, including membership, events, and ad hoc charges;
Monitor accounts receivable and support credit control activities to ensure timely collections;
Reconcile customer and supplier accounts and follow up on outstanding balances;
Liaise with members, clients, and suppliers regarding billing and payment matters;
Support accurate recording and reconciliation of all incoming and outgoing cash.
Management Reporting
Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with club management and group finance;
Prepare rolling forecasts and cash flow projections to support business planning
Provide financial insights to guide operational decision-making and commercial strategies;
Monitor CAPEX spend and support cost control initiatives.
Revenue Support
Assist in daily revenue reconciliation across F&B, membership, and event income streams;
Verify POS and booking system reports against bank receipts;
Maintain documentation and audit trails for revenue recognition;
Collaborate with operational teams to resolve revenue discrepancies.
Month-End & Year-End Processes
Prepare and post accruals and prepayments;
Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations;
Assist with year-end closing activities and audit preparation.
Tax & Compliance
Oversee GST/VAT submissions and ensure compliance with local tax regulations;
Support tax computations and liaise with external tax advisors as needed;
Maintain and update the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules;
Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies as required.

This role will play a pivotal part in the successful opening and growth of our Shanghai club — our flagship entry into Mainland China. It supports the Group’s broader ambition to expand the 67 Pall Mall experience across Asia-Pacific. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and who can translate global luxury standards into culturally relevant activations.
Key Attributes:
Essential
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in finance for F&B, luxury and/or lifestyle industries.
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) with strong technical knowledge.
Proven experience in financial management, ideally within hospitality, F&B, or membership clubs.
Proactive with solid judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with keen attention to detail.
