BASIC FUNCTION基本职能

Supervises the operation, repair and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical and manual facilities and equipment of the hotel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintains all machines, equipment, apparatus and fixtures in good operating condition.

2. Plan, organizes and co-ordinates activities of personnel during his shift, keeping in mind maintenance jobs, trouble reports and schedules.

1. Directs, leads subordinates to perform in accordance with operating procedures on maintenance and repair of machines and equipment.

2. Keeps accurate records of machine breakdowns, repairs and operating costs.

3. Implements in his section, energy conservation measures and keeps track of utility consumption.

4. Responsible for the upkeep of all Engineering areas.

5. Prepares requisition of materials needed for maintenance and repair of equipment and machines.

6. Prepares periodic reports of repair and maintenance of all hotel equipment.

7. Logs down all-important events that happened during his shift.

记录所有当班期间的重要事件。

8. Conducts preliminary selection interviews of candidates for positions under his section.

对自己下属应聘者进行初步面试。

9. Conducts orientation of new hires for his section.

负责对新进人员进行指导。

10. Appraises performance of subordinates every 6 months, counsels them and advises hem of their strengths and weaknesses.

每个月对下属员工的表现进行一次评估,指出他们的优点和弱点。

11. Performs other duties that may be required of him.

12. Identifies training needs of his subordinates and conducts training within his section.

13. Initiates misconduct notice.

JOB SPECIFICATION

职位要求

1. Preferably, Mechanical Engineering graduate or equivalent in experience.

最好是机械专业毕业或有同类经验。

2. at least 5 years of which should be with a hotel.

至少5年以上酒店工作经验。

3. Possesses supervisory skills

拥有一定的管理能力。

4. Strong in Human Relations and leadership

人际关系处理能力强,领导能力强。
