Key job responsibilities

• Manage proper accounting of business activities and support month-end financial closing

• Make sure the proper reconciliation of accounts, resolve and close aging items on time

• Work with global and regional business finance team to enforce accounting policies and procedures. Maintain adequate internal controllership.

• Address accounting issues and coordinate with local and global team to drive consistency

• Drive continuous improvement and identify, design and implement scalable processes. Develop and implement best practice

that can be used globally.

• Support annual statutory audits & adhoc tax audits by working with both internal and external teams

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills (including written English) and able to work effectively with APAC and other global teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- University degree in business/economics/accounting

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, Alteryx, BlackLine, Oracle.

- Above 4 years of experience with an emphasis on accounting, preferably, gained within an accounting firm or a medium to large international company, in a fast-paced and changing environment

- Experience working with IFRS or US GAAP and in the preparation of financial statements

- Fluent in business English, both verbal and written

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications

- Hold CPA or similar credentials
