Eastern Leaves is a tea company and cultural organisation working long-term with tea farmers in Yunnan. We own tea land on Nannuo Mountain and have offices in Jinghong (Xishuangbanna) and Milan, Italy. We specialise in high-quality Chinese tea and in organising in-depth tea and cultural experiences for international guests across Xishuangbanna and other parts of China.
We are active in spreading Chinese tea culture in Europe and North America through courses, educational programmes, and immersive tea tours. Our experiences range from long, in-depth journeys across Yunnan and China to customised programmes for specific international clients.

Who we are looking for 我们希望寻找的人
We act as a cultural bridge for our guests, connecting their original culture with Chinese tea culture, helping them understand real working environments and daily life rather than presenting a simplified or staged experience. Our guests meet tea farmers, tea professionals, ceramic artists, and the local communities we work with.
我们希望成为客人与真实中国茶世界之间的桥梁，让客人理解茶农与手工艺者的真实工作与生活，而不是参观被“设计好”的展示场景。我们的客人会走进茶园、制茶现场、陶艺工作室，以及我们长期合作的社区。
We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in Chinese culture and willing to communicate it in a foreign language; curious and motivated to learn, especially about tea, history, and different cultural backgrounds; empathetic, and comfortable working closely with people while building trust and long-term relationships.
我们希望你对中国文化有真实兴趣，并愿意用外语进行交流；对学习充满好奇，尤其是关于茶、历史和不同文化背景；具备同理心，愿意与人合作，并能逐渐建立稳定而深入的人际关系。
Main responsibilities 主要工作内容
Receiving and accompanying international guests during tea tours
Assisting with basic guiding, communication with farmers, and tea preparation
Supporting tour coordination and logistics
For suitable candidates, gradually leading independent day trips and longer tours, and assisting with studio activities
接待并陪同国际客人进行茶山与文化行程
协助基础讲解、与茶农沟通及日常泡茶服务
协助行程协调与现场支持工作
合适者可逐步独立带领一日行程及多日茶旅，并协助工作室相关事务
Working time 工作时间
Flexible, depending on tour schedules and itineraries
May involve several consecutive days or full weeks, or only a few days, depending on the season
根据具体行程灵活安排
可能连续工作数天或数周，也可能只参与部分短期活动
Location 工作地点
Jinghong city, Nannuo Mountain tea plantations, and areas around Xishuangbanna
Occasional trips to other parts of Yunnan
景洪市、南糯山茶区及西双版纳周边地区
部分行程需前往云南其他地区
Requirements 基本要求
- Genuine interest in tea and local culture
- Basic English communication skills and willingness to improve
- Responsible, curious, and comfortable working with people
- Students or recent graduates are welcome (postgraduates also welcome)
- Experience with foreigners and with tea is a plus
- 对茶与本地文化有真实兴趣
- 具备基础英语沟通能力，并愿意持续提升
- 做事认真负责，乐于学习，善于与人相处
- 欢迎在读学生或应届毕业生（硕士亦可）
- 有接待外国人或茶相关经验者优先
