Basic Accountabilities:
Project and portfolio management.
Resources and budget planning (internal & external) for project execution.
Continuous monitoring and assessment of project progress using suitable indicators (Time,
Costs, Quality, …).
Definition and execution of necessary measures to ensure target achievement.
Risk planning and management within the project.
Continuous communication and support of all stakeholders (production, product
management, sales and customer for customer-specific products) .
Build up and extend the product portfolio.
Support the product management in the creation of the roadmap and program plan of the
product line(s) .
Initiate and manage new development projects, transfer and localization projects.
Support portfolio or product line related questions and problems from production, product
management and other company stakeholders.
Technical coordination of the departments in the problem solving process as well as in the
day-to-day operational business.
Optimization of the product portfolio by planning, recording and implementing "Design to
Cost", "Design for Manufacturing" and "Cost out" Projects .
Support of
Patent topics and contracting in the portfolio context
Creation and release of marketing-, engineering- & testing requirements and technical
concepts for product development
Compilation of reports and statistics
Preparation of calculations, offers and business plans
Further development of company's technology and product range
Continuous improvement of the organizational processes and development of quality and
productivity enhancing standards.
Qualification Requirement:
Bachelor or above equivalent in industrial engineering or similar.
Familiar with product development, product creation process and product lifetime
management.
6+ years working experience as Project/Program Manager in R&D organization.
Technical background for Ethernet or RFID technology is preferred.
Computer operating skills in MS Office, MS Project, Collaboration Software,
Requirement Management Software (e.g. Polarion)
