Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Broker to specialize in the Aframax tanker chartering market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing chartering strategies in this key segment, leveraging market intelligence and client relationships to drive business growth for our China operations.
Key Responsibilities
1，Develop and expand our Aframax tanker chartering business globally, with a focus on the China market.
2，Collect and analyze market data specific to the Aframax segment, including vessel availability, freight rates, and cargo movements.
3，Monitor and interpret Aframax market trends, geopolitical events, and regulatory changes affecting supply and demand.
4，Prepare precise competitive analysis and periodic market reports for internal and client use.
5，Support strategic planning and negotiations with data-driven insights and freight forecasts.
6，Manage existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities within the Aframax sector.
7，Conduct regular client visits and maintain communication across all levels, from senior management to operations.
8，Collaborate with international office teams to share market intelligence and align client strategy.
9，Coordinate with European headquarters to implement business initiatives and operational support.
10，Report directly to the Department Head and General Manager of the China branch.
