Key activities
Witness the installation and testing activities as per the ITP and review test results to ensure project acceptance criteria are met. Ensures that the contractor adopts suitable procedures for the safe and adequate energised electrical and pressurised equipments.
Coordinate and review the completion inspection and documentation required for final acceptance and contract close out.
Review Inspection Reports and Certificates for completeness, adherence to requirements and verification of signatures.
Accepts/rejects the findings and instruct the contractors on the remedial action to be taken.
Advise promptly QA/QC Engineer and provide early warning of potential quality problems.
Assist the project Q.C. Engineer in the Preparation of COMPANY final dossier to be handed over to the Operations Group
Supporting the Engineering staff as per the Company's Quality and Integrity Management System
Maintaining contacts with other disciplines for QC issues inner his Team and Inspection on-site.
Assess Contractor’s QC team performances on site(s) and the share assessment report with project QC Coordinator.
Provide QC and Inspection input as required.
Managing, Coordinating and Training the National inspectors and personnel.
Professional Qualifications
Depending on technical discipline:
Certified training and commanding knowledge to ATEX Certification Definitions and ATEX Directive 94/9/EC guidelines;
Certified training in I&E Inspection Qualification for installation/testing
Knowledge of industry E & I codes and standards; Knowledgeable in reading P&ID's, PFD's, Single Line Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, etc
Certified working experience in Standard IEC 60079.
Civil building qualification related to construction industries or equivalent
Knowledge of instrumentation, electrical, mechanical necessary to perform the function.
Collection tools. Good knowledge of General Arrangement and Detail Drawings symbols and development.
