Imaging Specialist (Two-Photon Microscopy)

We are seeking an Imaging Specialist with a strong biological background to develop and manage our two-photon microscopy platform. You will design and implement imaging experiments, optimize protocols, train users, ensure data quality, and drive innovation in regenerative-biology research.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Development

• Design and implement two-photon imaging protocols tailored to biological research needs.

• Optimize excitation/detection parameters, optical path configurations, and sample-preparation workflows.

• Regularly evaluate system performance and introduce new technologies to enhance image quality.

2. User Support & Training

• Provide hands-on two-photon microscopy training for graduate students and postdocs.

• Troubleshoot experiments in real time and coach users on best practices.

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation.

3. Data Quality & Analysis

• Establish quality-control metrics for image acquisition and processing.

• Advise on quantitative image-analysis workflows.

• Assist in preparing high-quality figures and presentations for publications and reports.

4. Process Improvement & Innovation

• Develop and maintain efficient workflows for system maintenance, calibration, and upgrades.

• Monitor emerging optical-imaging technologies and assess their applicability to our platform.

Qualifications

1. Experience

• Experience designing biological imaging experiments and analyzing data is required.

• Hands-on experience with two-photon microscopy or other advanced optical imaging systems is preferred.

2. Skills

• Proficiency in image-analysis tools (e.g., ImageJ)

• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced research environment
