Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensively supervise and manage the project's business aspects, taking charge of the business management throughout the project's entire life cycle and ensuring that all business activities align with the company's goals and industry best practices.
Manage contractual obligations, including but not limited to FIDIC contracts, to ensure that contract execution complies with the company's strategies, upholds the company's interests, and mitigates potential risks.
Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, creating a collaborative and efficient working environment to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
Ensure that all contracts and agreements comply with relevant laws and regulations, identify and manage potential legal risks, and safeguard the company's legal rights and interests during the contract execution process.
Lead contract negotiations and change management, leveraging excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions, and ensure the smooth execution of contracts and reasonable handling of changes.
Prepare and manage budgets, funding forecasts, and cash flow.
Monitor project performance, analyze key indicators, and regularly report critical data and insights to senior management to provide data support for company decision-making.
Assist the supply chain and finance teams in negotiating subcontract agreements, insurance, letters of guarantee, and bonds, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments and facilitating the smooth delivery of the project.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, or related fields.
Fluent in English, with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, as English is the working language.
At least 10 years of business management experience in the offshore wind energy sector or related fields (LNG, oil and gas, etc.).
Proficient in FIDIC contract clauses and capable of drafting and reviewing contracts in both Chinese and English.
Able to identify business risks in contracts and propose effective risk control measures.
Possess excellent English business negotiation skills, capable of developing negotiation strategies to secure favorable contract terms and reduce contract risks.
Proficient in contract management principles, procurement processes, and relevant industry standards.
Good communication skills, able to effectively communicate and coordinate with team members from different cultural backgrounds, and able to establish good working relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Proactive in problem-solving and capable of independently driving project progress.
Accustomed to working in a fast-paced/high-pressure environment.
Excellent team collaboration skills, able to work efficiently with business development, bidding, and project management teams.
