Position Overview

To successfully perform this role, the candidate must be capable of fulfilling the following primary responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for the design and planning of mechanical systems (HVAC) within industrial engineering projects.

Collect, organize, and validate client input; coordinate with design institutes to ensure technical requirements are reflected in drawings.

Participate in the selection of utility equipment (e.g., air handling units, chillers, pumps, fans) and the schematic design of mechanical systems including piping and ductwork.

Review mechanical construction drawings (including system diagrams, schematics, and installation details), guide construction teams in executing work per drawings, and resolve technical issues during on-site installation and commissioning.

Organize and lead commissioning, acceptance testing, and corrective modifications for mechanical systems, completing subsequent handover procedures.

Develop/validate mechanical system operation cards to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

Collaborate with other project teams (e.g., electrical, automation, civil engineering) to coordinate interdisciplinary interfaces and ensure overall project progress aligns with schedules.

Work closely with production process departments to understand their requirements; coordinate with safety, health, and environmental departments to establish safety protocols; and coordinate service agreements and spare parts supply with local and global suppliers.

Support managers, project leads, engineers, and technicians within your discipline by preparing reports and presentations, and developing improvement plans and new solutions to enhance safety and quality while reducing costs.

Manage (mechanical, small-scale) projects to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in HVAC, Utilities/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC/mechanical design or field management for industrial engineering projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong spoken and written English communication skills.

Excellent report writing capabilities.

Proficient in CAD software, Microsoft Project, and project management skills, with the ability to apply them flexibly in daily work.

Preference given to candidates with BEV project experience.

Preference given to candidates with experience in greenfield/brownfield facility projects.

Preference given to candidates holding relevant certifications such as Registered HVAC Engineer, Utilities Engineer, or Plumbing Engineer; must possess teamwork spirit.

Strong on-site problem-solving abilities.

Extensive experience in fire protection system retrofits.

8. 需与生产流程部门紧密协作，理解其需求；与安全健康环保部门协调，制定安全规程；并与本地及全球供应商协调服务协议及备件供应。
9. 需在专业领域内支持管理人员、项目负责人、工程师和技术人员，编写报告和演示文稿，并开发改进方案及新解决方案，以提升安全与质量、降低成本。
10. 负责（机械类，小型）项目的管理工作，确保项目安全、优质、按时交付。

候选人要求

为胜任此职位，候选人需满足以下最低资格要求。

教育与经验

1. 拥有暖通空调、公用设施/机械工程或相关专业本科及以上学历。
2. 具备7年以上工业工程项目暖通空调/机械设计或现场管理经验。

知识、技能与能力

1. 具备良好的英语口语和书面表达能力。
2. 具备良好的报告撰写能力。
3. 熟练掌握CAD软件、Microsoft Project及项目管理技能，并能在日常工作中灵活应用。
4. 有BEV项目经验者优先。
5. 具备设施绿地/棕地项目经验者优先。
6. 持有注册暖通空调、公用设施或给排水工程师等相关证书者优先；需具备团队合作精神。
7. 具备良好的现场问题解决能力。
8. 拥有丰富的消防系统改造经验。
